Last updated 26 August 2026

This policy explains what personal data Francoalva Sp. z o.o. collects through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the GDPR).

Who the controller is

The data controller is Francoalva Sp. z o.o., ul. Obrzeżna 4, 02-691 Warszawa, Poland, VAT PL7511782527. For any question about your data, write to enquiries@francoalvaspzoo.pl.

What we collect

  • Enquiry data. The company name, contact name, business email, telephone number, VAT number, destination country and enquiry details you submit through the quote form.
  • Correspondence. Emails and messages you send us, retained as part of the commercial record.
  • Server logs. Standard web-server records including IP address, browser user agent and pages requested, retained for security and troubleshooting.

This website sets no advertising or profiling cookies, and embeds no third-party trackers, social widgets or chat scripts.

Why we process it

  • To answer your enquiry and issue an offer — legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
  • To perform a contract once an order is placed — Art. 6(1)(b).
  • To meet accounting and tax obligations under Polish law — Art. 6(1)(c).
  • To keep the website secure — legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f).

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not result in an order are deleted after 24 months. Records connected to a completed transaction are retained for the period required by Polish accounting and tax law, which is currently five years from the end of the relevant tax year. Server logs are kept for 12 months.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with parties who need it to complete your order — carriers and freight forwarders, customs agents, our bank and our accountants — and with public authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell data and we do not share it for advertising.

Your rights

You may request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, or portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to enquiries@francoalvaspzoo.pl and we will respond within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa.
